What We Do!
We are not like a normal day cares we are a Play Care. Which means we teach your kids while they are playing. Kids at young ages learn better if things are made fun.
Imaginative Play
Imaginative play is when a child uses their imagination to role-play scenarios they have seen, experienced or would like to experience. It's a kind of open-ended, unstructured play, with no rules, goals, or result – except that kids learn a lot along the way.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor play is a natural way for children of all ages to do physical activity. It's good for children's health and well-being to be physically active through play. Being active burns energy and can help prevent illnesses in adulthood.
Art and Crafts
Providing children with opportunities to engage in arts and crafts allows them to explore ideas and concepts and then express that through making something they can feel proud of, use to entertain others or simply look at for pleasure.
Free Play
Freeplay has to be unstructured and child-directed. Adult involvement is fine, but if we step in to organize it, we accidentally steal half the brain benefits.
For a playcare setting, that means blocks, dress-up, art supplies, outdoor time, and lots of “you decide what to do.” The messier and more open-ended, the better for their minds.
Fine Motor Skill Development
Puzzles develop memory skills, as well as an ability to plan, test ideas and solve problems. While completing a puzzle, children need to remember shapes, colors, positions and strategies to complete them.
Creating Memories
Creating Memories is something that we try to do for every child that comes to see us from doing crafts, Halloween candy buckets to having Santa visit the kids in December.
